As an IT Support Technician L2 employee you are responsible providing high quality IT Support to clients and stakeholders in line with the strategic direction of the business.

Your core responsibilities are focused on managing tickets to determine their solution or if they require de-escalation, professionally managing the expectations of clients ensure their tickets are issues are addressed in an accurate and timely manner, building the knowledge and skills of junior team members and role modelling the behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture.

The Role:

AWS Solution Support Engineer

Work Location: Clark, Pampanga PH

 

Purpose of The Role:
The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with IT support, development teams and broader business to support applications that our client owns and manages for other entities

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Act as the main escalation point for our level 2 technical operations team and provide technical guidance on systems design and support issues.
  • Own the overall operational responsibility for the AWS cloud hosted infrastructure for two cloud hosted solutions
  • Manage the software deployment and release processes for several enterprise software builds to the AWS cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing infrastructure to support several enterprise software builds future requirements
  • Provide infrastructure technical guidance to development teams on best implementation of their requirements, load testing, tuning and operating said infrastructure to deliver desired outcomes (including defined service availability SLAs)
  • Ensure that release management, vulnerability management and change management processes are strictly adhered to including approvals and reporting requirements
  • Continuously seek to improve our client’s DevOps capabilities – including automated deployment pipelines, scripts, Infrastructure-as-Code templates and documentation. Provide Operational feedback of any issues or improvements to the Development team through team channels and handle escalation as required
  • Produce written design and documentation regarding existing and proposed cloud applications

Knowledge/Qualifications:
  • 5 years working with AWS infrastructure and other relevant services in an operational capacity ( IAM, VPC , S3, EC2, ECS/ECR, ELB, API Gateway, Lambda, Cloudfront, SQS, KMS/Secrets Manager, Cognito, Code Pipelines, RDS, ElasticCache, Connect)
  • Experience with Source control systems/tools such as Git, CodeCommit, SourceTree
  • Experience with Virtualisation Technologies (such as VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with Container technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes and associated tooling
  • DevOps experience of 3 years – automated, deployment (e.g. AWS Code Pipeline, Atlassian Pipelines, circleCI, Azure DevOps Pipelines), infrastructure as code tooling (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation, Azure RM), configuration management tooling (e.g. ansible, chef, puppet), automated testing (e.g. lambda, Jenkins) experience highly valued
  • Working knowledge of a programming or scripting languages such as C#, Java, NodeJs/Javascript, Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Foundational Networking knowledge and experience – routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP SSL, SSH, DHCP and load balancing
  • Preferable Web security and compliance experience – SOC2, DDOS, prevention and PCI, IDS/IPS
  • Peferable experience with some Identity concepts & access services – SSO, SAML, RBAC, Azure AD, ADDC, SAML, OpenIDConnect
  • Expose to Azure/Office 365 would be desirable
  • Intermediate SQL/NoSQL Knowledge preferable

Finance And Accounting Manager

The finance and accounting manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, accounts payable, general ledger, cash flow and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Management of all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, financial accounting
  • Establishment and executing internal controls over the company’s accounting and financial procedures
  • Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances, in conjunction with the CFO
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and provide in-depth analysis and provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Responsibility for the preparation and submission of regulatory reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings, ensuring efficient conduct of external/internal audits and compliance with tax, BIR, PEZA and other regulations
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • This position supervises staff and manages the daily operations of all financial and business-related responsibilities

 

Experience and skills required:

  • Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Has at least 5-7 years of relevant working experience as a Finance/Accounting Manager
  • Experience in managing regulatory compliance and reporting (Taxation, BIR, PEZA etc)
  • Payroll management experience
  • Exceptional  leadership skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytic, innate problem-solver, detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in start ups is a plus
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to analyse problems, design and implement solutions independently.
