Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote support to customer networks in Australia or New Zealand
  • Respond to customer enquiries concerning system software and applications.
  • Document and log all actions into ticketing system.
  • Resolve escalated tickets from lower level engineers.
  • Escalation further if required.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Follow customer issues through to completion to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction has been achieved.
Desirable qualifications:
  • MCTS, MCSE, MCSA or equivalent
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Citrix certified
  • CCNA

Level 2 - IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician L2 employee you are responsible providing high quality IT Support to clients and stakeholders in line with the strategic direction of the business.
Your core responsibilities are focused on managing tickets to determine their solution or if they require de-escalation, professionally managing the expectations of clients ensure their tickets are issues are addressed in an accurate and timely manner, building the knowledge and skills of junior team members and role modelling the behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture.

 

The Role:
  • Mostly server and application support within Microsoft Active Directory environments.
  • Support of Terminal Services, VMWare and Citrix-based cloud Infrastructure.
  • Diagnose faults within production systems, research and implement solutions.
  • Support networking routing and switching hardware (e.g. Cisco, Fortigate etc.)
  • Occasional project team work to deploy solutions for customers
  • Work with highly experienced Solutions
  • Architects to maintain best practice environments
  • Install and configure Servers, Networking and other IT equipment
  • Opportunities to be involved with Account management VOIP technical presales and other areas.
Requirements:
  • Expert desktop support knowledge. You must be familiar with end user support and Active Directory to be considered for this role.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server products including Exchange and SQL
  • General understanding of LAN & WAN network principles.
  • A general knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall
  • An understanding of backup systems and software
  • An understanding of ITIL and customer service principles would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and spoke English, with a great phone manner.
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Fast and accurate keyboard skills, with proper spelling and grammar.
Desired:
  • Experience working with an IT outsources or service provider
  • Experience working with Office 365
  • Apple Mac Support experience
  • Experience with Connectwise, Automate (Labtech) and/or Solarwinds Orion

Android Developer

The Work:

Our client is a team of over 100 staff across Australia and the Philippines, that has built an online marketplace in Australia that connects customers and businesses.

They bought several competing companies in the past few years, leading to very slow growth and expansion of their various web and mobile applications.

They are starting a development & QA team within Tech Elite, you’ll be working on the Android Apps, but later we will also cross-train you into working on the iOS Apps.

You’ll be surrounded by over 200 other IT industry professionals working for other clients within our specialist facility.

Expectations:

  • Experience building native android applicatiions from scratch using Kotlin and/or Java. Bonus points for Kotlin
  • Has previously deployed applications to the Google Play Store.
  • Has a solid understanding of Android fundamentals, Android Architecture Components and modern best practices.
  • Has a solid understanding of Android UI/UX, Google Material Design and can translate designs to high quality code.
  • Is able to work with and consume REST API’s
  • Has exposure to reactive programming
Technology:
  • Experience building native Android applications, in either Java or Kotlin.
  • Android Fundamentals – Highly experienced
  • Android Architecture Components – Some experience
  • RxJava and/or Kotlin Coroutines – Some experirience

Customer Service Administrator

This is a graveyard shift in line with Chicago Stand Time

Salary Range: 18000-30000 inclusive of night differential

A Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Chicago USA.  They are a rapidly growing company focussed on the following:

They have an existing technical team with Technology Elite and are looking to grow their team further.  Our client is committed to staff from the Philippines.

Their marketing strategies are creating a lot of buzz in the industry and they need additional staff to handle inbound calls.

The Role:

With the ongoing marketing campaign, we need staff who can be bright and friendly on the phone.  Your role will be customer facing and YOU will be the FIRST point of contact for potential new clients.  To get this job it is all about your attitude and phone manner.  You don’t have to be a techy person but if you have some experience in your previous roles we want to hear about it.

As you will be the first person the potential client speaks to you need great listening skills to get all the relevant information from them.  You are NOT selling, you are the friendly voice that makes the potential client feel good about calling.

Once the information is collected then you will pass the information back to the staff in Chicago and they do the rest.

This is a very exciting campaign and the key is your enthusiasm.
